Does anyone know if I can put -96 bumper caps on a 97-01 bumper?

I've seen it done and I think it looks real clean. Not sure how much modification is needed though.

What's the mod? Is it just drilling holes in the bumper to install? It looks like it would just slip on. Let me know. I'm thinking "pull-a-part" on sat.

Here is a pic of someone who did the fronts. The rears will present a real mod challenge because they are a completely different design (end caps wrap around the body behind the wheel wells). Your kinda on your own for that one. Haha.
