Built or Bought - Where do you draw the line?
See even for me, it is hard. My jeep was technically "built" when I bought it, but it was wore out, and I have "re-built" it. And I have re-done the lift and suspension, but everybody still says that I bought a built rig.

I actually like to break it down into THREE categories:
Bought:
You bought the Jeep and hardly put in any wrench time.
Built:
You bought parts and installed them yourself (for all the the most complicated stuff)
Fab'd:
DIY major components (but not everything)

Bought to me is the type of people who don't want to do any work and buy a complete built up rig take credit for it and having it as a pavement princess. Built to me is takin your stock rig and putting your hard earned time and money into making it your own taking it out and doing with it what you want

All kidding aside, I rock one of these stickers, and I do all work myself, very few of my mods were bought and just bolted on, I take pride in my ride and what I have done. Personally I feel that not all your mods need to be fabbed by hand, as long as you put the wrench time in your hands, that's what got me started in fab. Started looking at bumpers and such and said "I can build that", so I bought the tools then did it. The point is, get out there and start wrenching, just my two pennies
