the build sheet for our wj says it came stock with lt265/70r70e then says the rim is 16x7.0
now i dont know much about tires and rims but does that make sense? i though the last number on the tire size was the rim size...

I don't believe they even offered 16" rims on any Jeep vehicle in 1991. But the size P225/75R16 would be low profile street tires nowdays.
