This may seem odd but I have a cool idea i want to try out. My AutoShop teacher has a pair of old saturn bucket seats. I was thinkin about swappin them in for my bench seat in the back of my 99 sport!
please leave any comments/addvice for my idea!
Any pictures would be greatly appriciated!!!!

Measure first. You'll need some angle iron to weld to the Jeep body and to use for the new seats to bolt to. You'll probably want to mock up some kind of center console to go between them as well if you want a "finished" look. The problem I have with swapping out the bench for buckets is that you lose the ease of access to the under-seat storage.

... and an extra seat. You would lose cargo space as well because the Saturn buckets would be longer. Not to mention they wouldn't match...
I wouldn't, but if it makes you happy...

as for the center, that space will still be there as well so im thinkin either a cd rack, or a smaller sub woofer (8-10 inches)
And the seats are tanish just like my interier

Don't do it.
I did this over a year ago and hated it.
Biggest pain is you can't see out of the back window for crap!
Seats will sit too high.
Loose leg room.
It sounded like a awesome idea at the time.... It's not.

I wish this forum had the "related threads" box at the bottom. I get tired of searching up threads for people.
