Angry Was broken in to yesterday

So yesterday for Veterans Day I decided to go out and have some fun in the desert with my guns. Got everything together and headed out with my lady. We spent a few hours having a good time shooting my Glock 23, M4, and Mossberg 12 gauge. After some rapid fire shooting the cops got called cuz someone though I had an automatic weapon. They ran all my serial numbers and checked out my guns. Everything was cool so they went on their way. A few minutes later we cleaned everything up and did a little exploring on the dirt roads for a bit. After about 30 minutes of that we headed home. Once I got home I took out all my guns and range gear and put everything away then we relaxed for a few hours. At around 4pm we went to pick up the kids from daycare and stopped to pick up pizza on the way home. We pulled in the the driveway around 5pm. After an early dinner we sat around and watched tv for a little while and decided it was a good time to go get some ice cream, this was at about 9:20pm and at that time I noticed that the center console was open and things were missing. I had and older cell phone in the center console, along with my garmin gps on the window, streamlight stinger LED next to the seat and some oaklies. All of which were missing. What was strange to me is that who ever ripped me off left my in-dash sony stereo, cobra cb radio, two bluetooth headsets, tool bag in the rear, air pump, and my garage door opener.

I spent the rest of the evening restless and paced around the house many times, even going outside with my Glock loaded and ready incase the perps decided to come back and finish up.

What a ****ty way to end Veterans Day....

Sounds about right for DHS. I lived in Palm Desert and had my car broken into 3 times, they even stole my wheels.

Mine was broken into in August, they smashed out the rear passenger wing window even though the doors dont lock because appearently Jeep hasn't mastered how to make a door latch that will last as long as the engine. They took EVERYTHING but the theif left his phone in my car. Karma's a .....! Im sorry that happened to you though!

Should be easy to find the perps if they turn that cell phone on.
It will fire a location ping and signal the closest tower looking for service.

Hope they catch the jerks.

Kind of sounds like when some idiot broke into my buddy's truck. Went through stuff and stole nothing but a (broken) ipod. The $3500 of stereo equipment in that truck was untouched.

Sounds like you were askingxforxit. Sorry I had to. Usually it's kids looking for unlocked doors and they don't have the ***** to smash a window. If they really want to get in I'd rather have them smash a window so hopefully I would hear something and catch them. It's a lot harder to steal stuff with a 12 gauge down your throat..

I've been wanting to do a lighter trigger and a couple things on my 23 but it's hard to decide between guns and jeep parts.

Yeah, leaving your doors unlocked is just sort of asking for it.

I don't leave mine unlocked even if I'm just running inside for a few minutes, and I don't even have anything in my XJ worth stealing, lol
