Default braking noises?

On my 97 Cherokee 4WD, when I'm braking to a stop ,I hear a B-R-R-R-R-R-R sound from the drivers front(only about the last 10 feet of travel), which slows as I come to a stop. Otherwise the noise isn't heard.
I have replaced the calipers, the pads, and the hub assemblies, on both front wheels to no avail.
I didn't replace the rotors as they looked in pretty good shape.
What's going on here?
thanks as always
Tk

B-R-R-R-R-R?

Maybe a rotor is warped?

The rotors are glazed up. They're cheap, replace them if the noise doesn't go away.

I replaced both rotors. The noise remains and now the drivers side is smoking after a few blocks drive and a dozen stops.

That sounds like the soft line is failing

New rotors have a coating on them to prevent rust while being shipped and when sitting on the shelf. That coating will smoke for a little bit until it all burns off.

I think the b-r-r-r-r noise is the brakes trying to tell you they're cold. Lol. Maybe your abs is failing?

Are the rears working properly? You might be doing all the braking on the front and triggering the ABS?

soft line is the flexible brake line that's behind the tire (as opposed to the stainless steel hard line)

when it goes bad, it starts to stretch and collapse as fluid pressure changes, resulting in the calipers not getting all the fluid or holding it too long. this shows up as pulsing, chatter, sticking, etc. should be replaced as part of any overhaul

The noise in the front right happens weather 'hot' or cold. and I replaces the brake lines when I did the calipers a few months ago.
I will pull the rear wheels and take a look....
my 97 dosnt have abs.
