brake lines question

Default brake lines question

3" lift and 31s do u need to extend the brake lines some say yes some say no.....anyone know cause i dont want to extend them if i dont have to thanks

Depends on if you are going to off road or not.Most lifts come with relocation brackets in the kit.Or you can buy extended lines.Its up to you.

The RIGHT way would be to extend them

I believe the Chevy 1500 like 80s or 90s has 5 inches extra length.

i have the same setup with stock lines.

it has the relocate clips but is very tight when up on a shop lift.

i'll be going extended soon.

I have a 3" lift with stock lines and no rear swaybar and had the rear completely flexed and no problem. I do plan on getting some longer lines at some point tho
