What exactly does the RCX kit do? What advantages?

The control arms being lowered is an advantage for lifted Cherokees because it makes the ride less squirrely. Lowering the arms mounting points reduces control arm angles and substantially improves ride quality and handling both on and off road. Rough Country has the kit and recommends it for anything 4.5" or higher.

Do both!! If you choose to do just the lowers, your pinion and caster will change DRAMATICALLY throughout the suspenson cycle, and will most likely bind.(which will cause wandering) This would defeat the purpose of doing drop brkts.

Here's mine. They are the rocky road outfitters control arm drop kit. They are made as all one unit. The upper and lower are all tied together. Not like the other kits we're its two separate pieces. And the brace that runs down the frame rail that ties into the cross member comes with the kit. You don't have to buy that as an extra piece.

Nope, I haven't with mine. Besides mine are pretty beefy so even if I did hit something they would just slide right over it. So no big deal for me, im not worried at all.

Would it be worth it if I have a 3" lift?
