Default blown shocks?
I recently picked up some parts from a CF member, some shocks were included.

If I'm not mistaken shocks are suppose to decompress on their own.

These I get don't. Are they toast?

Some shocks do, some don't. if it takes a lot of strength to extend or compress them by hand they arent blown.

hydraulic (i think) shocks dont decompress.

That's right, the hydraulic shocks don't decompress themselves but the gas-charged shocks should slowly decompress themselves.
