Here is a pair of rubicon express leaf springs (either 4.5 or 3.5", can't remember) next to some stock leaf springs. They were under my jeep for less than a year when they looked like this. And they looked MUCH worse when weight was on them. You can clearly see how they began to turn into an "s" shape.

return them and get some new leafs
just confirmed the warranty for a broken leaf just today. (friends jeep)

lol nice.
Yea I told the main suspension mechanic at work what you boys have been saying about blocks. LOL
Of course he doesn't know how hard core you guys are. But he Laughed and said he has been running 3" blocks for 5 years on his xj. Its a trail only rig with 35" claws.
Everyone has some good info about them. xj88 has an awesome bumper that I love if I remember correctly? Atmos has an 8.8 set up that I envy. But no one on here knows all there is to know. And many things on the net may seem logical, have a great story line or right up that you can understand the concept. But in real word could not be further from the truth.
All the best.

yeah well he has seen the video on facebook of me jumping my jeep. and also the video of me doing a hill climb at night shooting flames where my little xj made it to the top of the hill when none of the other rigs could. not to mention im on my second front axle my fourth or fifth 8.25 cant remember. second engine and transmisson thrid of fourth front driveline second rear drive line. second front flip. i can go for along time but whats funny is i just redid my front lift cause the upper and track bar were shot and im still running the custom rear bastard pack.
im not saying i do the hardest wheeling on here not even close but im hard on rigs because i try to push what i own to the limit. If I ran blocks in there rear of my jeep i would be scared to push the skinny peddle down or go into certain spots. just like i would be if my jeep had a dana 35 in the rear.

It does sound like you are hard on equipment
I love hill climbing. The steeper the better. I will try anything that is not going to cave my sides in. other than that I am usually the one that people are watching try something. Sounds like you are the same way.

Well honestly I can tell you that you would not notice a difference.
It does sound like you are hard on equipment

buddy had dana 35c in his tj with 33s put a locker in it and first wheelin trip in the sand did one doughnut and .....BOOM! 35mphs and two plus hours later to get home we found out the carrer had split in multipule peices.
He is open/open though. I agree that they are not meant for 35's. But sometimes they just seem to hole up great?
Shoot he tried this nasty climb had his tires smoking trying get up the rock ravine. Bouncing and smoking! LOL Could not believe he never had a problem with the d30 or the d35.
I would admit though If I had a dana 35 I would wheel it with 35's. Knowing it very well could break. IF it did, then I would go from there.
