in a bit of a door jam literally lol
well was looking to go doorless today on my 01 since nyc is being killed with a massive heat wave of 98+ each day n gets hotter esp when ur ac is broke .
so anyway i looked and searched all the doorless threads on here and it looks pretty simple just torx bit remove doors n cut some pins n hinges etc etc .
im just scared to screw it up .so to get to wat im pondering about it i havent seen this mod done to an 2001 and alot of the threads say that 01 hinges are diff then the rest and im not sure about that so im just wondering from my fellow jeepers who either own a 01 or 00 99 or 98 lol how this is done correctly without screwing this up .
thank you for reading and hope i get some feed back on this so i can mod the doors asap

Its quite easy to do when you cut the pins make sure you disconnect the wiring in the door first cut the hinges and take the doors off when you want to put them back on you can use a bolt or cut the bottom half of the hinge off and weld the bolt to it so they slide off easily http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/a...-97-a-444398/i did it on my 99 it was quite ease

I did it, and love it! No regrets about it. Only 'hassle' I had was when I had only done the front doors and police pulled me over.. cop was mainly curious/interested, and looked further into it for me (as he couldn't see why it'd be illegal, was just something he'd never dealt with) lol.
Also, I get a lot more attention from the 'Real Jeeps' haha

Buy the proper speedometer gear for your gear ratio/tire size for your XJ and have the computer flashed (hand-held programmer for example) on your F-150 to take into account the new tire size.
