Default Birthday Gift

My parents bought me brand new shocks for my jeep. They are Gabriel ProGaurd. I was actually very happy about this as the shocks in it right now are original and are so rusted out you can see through them. Anyway I was already thinking about doing a minor lift using bastard packs in the rear and v8 coils in the front. The question is can I still do this with these shocks or would I have to change them out for different ones?

taller springs = longer shocks.
