Sand is very abrasive....and rocks are too. If you're spinning a lot in the desert....expect about the same from your next set. I bought a set of used tires from a guy not too long ago. 3 of them were awesome, over 50% tread left. One of them was 50% on the inner half, and flat bald on the outer....Guy got stuck and spun it on a rock....a lot apparently.

Ehhh....thats a very good point. I honestly dont know what to do right now. I mean i want to go out and play but i can afford to replace tires every 25k. So i've thought of a few possible routes i can take.

1. Get new BFG's and put a locker in to reduce my spinning tendencies and be able to slow down on portions. (At least thats what i think it might do...)

2. Upgrade to some mud tires + a locker(may or may not help with the traction/spinning issue)

3. get some all season tires and run it on the streets till i can afford to get a 4x4 cherokee or do the conversion and stay away from the dirt...

I honestly dont know what to do...whats your opinions on option 1 and 2??
