Does anyone have any experience with the km2 in the wet northeastern snow. All the the reviews on the web are all different, some say they are awesome in snow and others say they are terrible. I don't know if it depends on which type of snow your on or if you should just air down more and then they would do fine. If any of y'all have any experience with these in northeastern snow it would be a huge help because it is pretty much the only thing holding me back from buying them. Oh and by the if this makes a difference they will be a 31x10.5xr15.

I personally think they are rlly good in the snow, I think they are a little bit better in the powder/harder stuff compared to the wetter stuff but they still are good

Well this season its was kinda wet stuff, but offroad its usually pwder/deep stuff. They still perform good regardless, they perform well aired down aswell
Well that's very good to hear they performed well. I'm just not sure how well they would do in the hills of Pittsburgh where I live?

Take a lookin at bfg ko's im running them now, its an all terrain tread and they perform very well off road as well as on, and there not as aggressive as the km2's so will save u a little on the mpg and they have very low road noise, and they are excellent aired down, as well as in the snow.
my brother actually has them right now on his yj. the only complaint he says is they dont do well in mud but are fantastic everywhere else. i think i might just go with the a/t`s and just deal with the crappy mud abilities of the tire just so im not buying tires every 20,000 miles like i would with the m/t

I agree with jeepxj19. The KOs are great both on and off road. As far as the KMs in snow, I have been running them for about 16 months now, and love them. I went from KOs to the KMs because mine is no longer a DD. The KMs don't perform as well on slick surfaces as the KOs, but as soon as you put it in 4wd there is really no difference. As far as deep snow goes, I have loved them. I have had them in both wet and dry snow and haven't really had anything to complain about.

My KM2s are pretty good in snow but that is on a limited basis. We don't get much here.
That said, they suck in sand and are not great in mud.

That's what's confusing me on reviews on the Internet. People say they are great in deep snow but crap in light snow. Then you see another review saying the complete opposite thing.

I don't have any experience with the KM2, but generally mud tires aren't as good in snow as an all terrain. Big, smooth lugs don't do well in snow and wet conditions, that's why a/t's and snow tires have smaller lugs with siping. I drive in snow alllllll the time, and I don't think I'll ever have a better tire in snow than the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac. They call it an all terrain, but it looks way more aggressive than most (if not all) a/t's out there. They're a little cheaper than the KM2 as well. Good in mud, great in snow. I say if you'll be seeing some mud, definitely snow, and mostly pavement, give these a look.
The only reason I'm not running them now is because I wanted to try out some different tires to see what else is out there.

Do any of you have any experience with kelly safari tsr. I saw someone running them at a jeep show last summer. Actually the Kelly look very similar to the duratrac
