Best place to buy tow hooks???
I am wanting to get the tow hooks and brackets for the front of my xj. From searching it looks like the C4x4 ones are good as well as the Rusty's. Rugged Ridge looks pretty good too. Where would be the best place to buy these from where I can get the best deal and customer service?

autozone has a decent set for like 20 bucks , most autozones have them in stock , take a ride over to your local one and check em out , my buddy has them and they hold up well these are the ones here http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...randName=Reese

im not a big fan of the captain hook style tow hooks that go to a slight point and are chrome and open, they come with a little mounting bracket that could hold a rope in but it was flimsy and I towed off it once and it held but ripped off the little bracket then they were useless
do you have any basic fabrication skills? or know any body that does?
this would be awesome and a pretty cheap solid fab.
it would kind be like my lower brackets

see that hook on the auto zone page, its completely open. so the only way you could to would be, if someone holds the tow strapon tension so it wont fall off while other vehicle tensions the line. (im not a big fan) and Ive also had them snag branches and vines before and its like a little grappling hook on the bottom of your jeep

Thanks for the input guys. Yeah, I am not getting anything without the bracket that goes back on the unibody. I will have to check out Jeepinoutfitters. The only concern I would have with the ring, is it clanking around on the road.
I dont keep mine on, only in the cab because people will jack them and another nice thing was when a guy hit me head on slowly those brackets went rite through his bumper and stopped him
