I've seen a few people who have bed lined the inside of their XJ's. And i was thinking of doing it myself but i was wondering if it's worth it. Does it get unbearably loud inside or not retain heat/cold as well? Is there any wires that i would have to worry about when i pulled up the carpet?

Can i see some pics from you guys who have done it?
And should this have gone in the tech forums?

It get hot fast with out the insulation under the carpet. wires not sure you'd have to see when you pull i know there are some with more wires (more options) and some with less.

I'm going to do mine but its also getting a cage and a trailer so don't care much about noise or heat

 

There are some wires, and i just put the carpet back in. Keeps the noise and stuff down.
