Dude, I'm there with you on this. I have been hit in that little divider part of your nose with one of those wires out of a die grinder spinning at 20,000 rpm's. May as well have been a 20 pound sledge. eyes watering and cursing so bad truckers and sailors would have been embarassed. My wife says "wear a face shield" safety first. she's lucky to still be breathing after a comment like that.

That finger, yeah I had to drive one to the hospital. I was working at a cabinet shop and a guy cut his finger off so I had rush it to the hospital, I had the fastest car at the time, I figured I could show the cop the finger if I got caught speeding.

I also got my finger smashed between the tire and the fender well on my VW, when it fell off the jack when I was taking the tire off....no finger nail for a while...It was gnarly.

Using a socket to recieve the other end of a u-joint, I got frustrated and started swinging like an MLB pro with a ball pin hammer. Shattered the socket and a piece went clean through my shoe into the arch of my foot. It was such a fast clean shot I didn't notice until my shoe felt soggy. Doc spent around an hour trying to get it out to no avail (I passed out watching them dig around with tweezers). Still in there, I can pick up a magnet on the bottom of my foot. Doesn't bother me but looks like a dime-sized triangle on an x-ray. Black eye from 15/16" wrench falling, broken pinkie from spring compressor snapping, couple of burns from tailpipe, soaked up plenty of oil in open wounds... XJ and I are blood brothers.

well I was puttting up a pop up cover for some shade and got up on the roof of my 2dr to put the top on and the wind came and pushed me down and I fell on a fiberglass hood that slid out and I hit a tool box and a set of rims. It sucked for the rest of the day but only 2 long scares on my left leg from it.

Usual cuts, scrapes, gashes, bruises, burns from wrenching, grinding... Of course, there was the time I hurt my back when I was helping push a car off a trailer. The bumper twisted, squishing my hand between the bumper and body... Back was hurt following the car off the trailer since my hand was still in the bumper! Yes, my hand hurt, but my back was a wreck for a week.
