Well after my ratchet slipped (while I was torquing down the u-bolts for my cherry bomb muffler) and punched myself in the face leaving a nice X cut in my upper lip, bloody nearly broken smashed nose I wonder what other scars and wounds have been suffered in the glorious battle for the perfected XJ
I do not have any scars from the XJ yet. Countless busted knuckles and banged up elbows, but no permanent scars. On the other hand I am a professional in the field of self injury. My on the job scars are staggering in number.

back when i was into small blocking s10's i was trying to get the lower shock bolt off of a donor truck, thing wouldnt budge for anything so my old man comes over with a big ***** pipe wrench and says lemme give that a try, wound up breaking the bolt clean off uppercutting himself with the pipe wrench and split the back of his head on the bottom of the truck.
nothing that serious with the xj yet, i did pinch my finger in the rear fender flare trying to push it back on lol

Blood, sweat, and tears (a few)
The usual bloodied knucles, bruises and a near knock out when my rear window popped out and I had to put it back in. The open hatch is forehead level and you need to pay attention when walking full speed and running into it, twice. Blacked out for a few and saw stars.
No urgent care visits on the Jeep, but had one on a Suburban. Just got done doing an engine convert from diesel to gas and loading up old parts in the trailer to scrap when someone threw the radiator with jagged old tranny lines in the back. Well it hit my hand and scooped my finger nail out from under the skin behind the finger nail (yes, they grow back that far). Dr had to cut the skin, re-insert the nail and stitch it up.
Best part was the visit cost me $200 as my BS medical covg only covered $100. Wasnt even my Suburban. Good times.

lots of injuries from workin on F/A-18's cause ALL the dang flaps are head level and all the wheel well doors are kidney level (ouch)... but so far only busted nuckles and ripped crotched jeans from the XJ... did almost knock myself out once pulling out one of them drink holders that spin around in the back of my parents high top van... they stick stuck... WARNING!!... watched dad brake his nose pulling a wrench at his face installing a transmission... so i make sure not to do that no matter what
but boy was it funny to me... lol

Just little scrapes from the XJ. But, working on my buddy's Caviler I cut my leg open pretty good, right through the denim. Took the interior panel off the door to get to the door latch, there's a metal piece that the arm rest screws into that sticks straight off the door about three inches. I got out of the car and walked right into it. Ouch!

I bleed daily,( roofing contractor) nothing major though. XJ has not hurt me yet, but I had my mustang fall on me while changing a tranny. I could have pooped myself.
