Battery Terminals with extra options for adding accessories?
Need to power some lights and a winch. Prefer not to use the same bolt/nut that pinches the terminal onto the battery post.
Anyone have a source for aftermarket terminals I can connect to the OEM +/- cables and also run additional wires to the terminals???
I've seen some of the Stereo/Audio web sites that sell them, but not feeling the "hole" you put the wires into. Prefer a stud/nut setup and a wire with a lead at the end.
I've googled a bunch, I'm "meh" about all I've seen so far. Quadratec has some that seem the closest to what I want. Just not 100% sure how they connect to the OEM cables.
Thanks!
Barry

Marine-style battery clamps have a vertical binding post, about 1" high, with a wing nut.
Ordnance-style clamps have a horizontal binding post, with 3/4"-7/8" of useful length under the hex nut.
What I prefer is to mount a distribution post near the battery, run a feeder lead to it, and then wire accessory feeds to the post (keeping all of the extra leads off of the battery in the first place.)
