Axle Talk
I just got my XJ and thought it had a Dana 35 rear, but out of curiosity I checked it with the Axle Identification link on the "helpful links" thread, and now believe it to be a Chrysler 8.25. I have a 95 Sport with some sort of tow package.
Currently this is my DD/Rig (soon to be Rig only) and originally I planned to upgrade (eventually) to a Dana 44, when I started to wheel it more.
I know little about C8.25 axles, but thought them to be pretty decent rear axles.
Enlighten me please
