How hard is it to swap a stock rear xj axel with a 4cyl yj axel?

I heard they have 4.11 gearing n I can't deal with my stock gearing.

I figured that's cheaper then re gearing on my axel

Swapping the axle out of another XJ is not hard at all. The YJ should be coil sprung so welding is involved. But you need to make sure your front axle is geared the same as the rear or say goodbye to your transfer case.

Lol so I would need to get both front and rear from the YJ?
