Default awesome junkyard find

i couldnt contain my excitment any long.
ive need a drivers side power seat for years and ive been looking for a long time. it got to the point where a brick and a glass bottle were holding it up. went to a junk yard about an hour away and found a whole set of very nice dark gray leather seats. mine were the sand color leather. i got both fronts and back seat and the gray console lid to match for 100 bucks!and they r near perfect. On ebay someone wants 200 just for the drivers side track. my best jy find yet.

they came from a 90 sport. mine is a 91briarwood, i was worried the dark gray wouldnt look right with all the sand color and woodgrain but it looks pretty damn good.
if i didnt find anything today i was going to pay the 200 for the track on ebay.

Our local pick-a-part yard had a special "$40 per cartload with free admission for the day" dealie last October. I scored a rear speaker soundbar, skid plates, probably 5 pounds of fuses. Also relays, windows, rear wiper arms, full set of aluminum rims with good meats, woodgrain dash bezel, OEM fog light switches and plates, 3 alternators, 2 starters, tow-hooks, digital clock, 2 front seats with bolsters that have the extra tipping adjustment, transmission coolers, 4 Flex-a-lite electric fans, 6 OEM electric fans, the rear vinyl cover that's retractable for the XJ along with the brackets. Fog lights, valve cover (my 2.5 was cracked). All for $80.

This year I am going for XJ front driveshafts, t-cases, ford 3.0 alternators(resellable!), possibly an AW4 if I get out there a few days ahead and loosen it up. More fuses (those pesky tiny ones too), light bulbs, complete R134 AC from a 1998 XJ for my '92. Hope they get a 99-2001 XJ in there so I can snag the intake.

Gonna be a hoot.

Nice find for sure. I need to try and find a new set for mine as well. I want to get a set of manual non-power ones though.

I once found 3k in counterfeit hundreds tucked above the headliner in a junkyard car. I THOUGHT it was an amazing find until i noticed the cheap *** ink was smearing all over my hands and the serial numbers were all the same

I scored these for $100 out of a 97 Concord, all power, but had to make new mounts, but was worth it after pulling the cloth muddy seats out
heres a pic of the before/after

I found a WJ that had leather seats. They were grey and my interior is black. The seats were in great condition. Heck, the power was still on in the Jeep... the headlights turned on and the seats still moved...
