So I tackled my rear brakes today and found out that the hardware kit I bought from Auto Zone contained none of the correct parts.

Come to find out, in Auto Zone's system, the 00 Jeep Cherokee Sport is actually listed as a GRAND Cherokee.

Does anybody know why?

Did you tell them 2000 Jeep Cherokee? Typically they will ask Cherokee or grand Cherokee.

Definitely sounds like some confusion at the counter. Otherwise someone messed up their computer system, but I cant imagine youre the first guy asking for 2000 XJ parts.

When I said 00 Cherokee and specified that it was a regular Cherokee, not a Grand, I was given the wrong parts.

So the guy at the counter told me that the Cherokee SPORT is listed under GRAND Cherokee in the system, and sure enough when he put it in that way, it gave me the right parts.

That was def an AZ mistake all the way. Cause in 00 there was a "regular" Cherokee, as those dumbasses like to call it, and a grand Cherokee. They always make these mistakes
