Also, to answer your question about how to do the tapered hole, you can either use a reamer, or drill straight through and put a tapered insert in...as to which one he did, I don't know, LOL

He used heim joints, so there is no taper. He just drilled the knuckles out to fit the bolts he used which I can't remember what he used, either 3/4" or 5/8".

I wouldn't put a 3/4" bolt in a stock D30 knuckle. 5/8" is the biggest I would put in there. It's only 1/8" difference but it removes a good bit of material and weakens the knuckle that much more. Ruffstuffs website even says so ..!.. ..!..


Also, this is CF... The "big boys" are on NAXJA and pirate. Lol

It's just 4 welds burn that stuff together.

Haha I was thinking the same thing about the "big boys" go check out pirate, cf is a walk in the park compared to them
