Question Anyone know what this is above domelight?

Anyone know what the green circuit board is that's in the front dome/map light of a 2000 XJ? Has a lot of wires running to it, picture below.
Thanks in advance.

Keyless entry receiver module. It also clicks off the light after 30 seconds or so after you hit the "unlock" button on your remote....if you have one.

So does that mean I have the factory keyless entry???
So if I were able to find a key fob for it would I be able to use it with that module for locking and unlocking the doors?

Such as:https://ikeyless.com/vehicles/Jeep/C...HUwRoCEubw_wcB

Assuming all the equipment is there you could but....

You would need the correct key fob, looking right might not do it. The fob will have a model number, you need the right one for you specific year and model car.

You'll need to program the fob to work with your car. This could be simple and free (acuras and Hondas can be done in 10 seconds from the driver seat with no tools) or it can be expensive and require a trip to the dealership.
