Right now the neighbors are laughing about me cutting up a GC. LOL
That looks like a Subaru Baja on steroids. lol I like it!

Whenever i do mine I'm simple going to cap the ends around the tail lights and fab up a Comanche tail gate to fit in. Obviously shorten the sides but I'm sure it'll look better with an actual truck bed tailgate. My own though

[QUOTE=no rdplz;1238220]LOL, that third pics looks almost like a jacked up Subi Baja. I've seen a couple GC's chopped, but I think the WJ's look better than ZJ's. The XJ's look the best of all three chopped though. especially if it's done right. But for the XJ's, a 2 door chop to me is pointless. Just get a Comanche.

2 door chop being pointless...There are a few BIG differences between a chopped 2 door and a Comanche. Let alone it being hard to find a Comanche in decent shape without a ton of miles. Totally different ball game in my opinion.

I understand, it's just my opinion. Not everyone is gonna agree and I'm cool with that. I do agree that a good, low mileage Comanche is hard to find and that there are some big differences between them and a 2 door chop. But to me, the purpose of a chop is to gain a truck bed. What do you call a 2 door Jeep with a truck bed? A Comanche. But that's me. I've said it before and I'll say it many more times, To each their own, otherwise we'd all be driving the same thing.

That's what I personally like about the WJ. Your factory tail lights can stay right where they are because the hatch is to the insode of them.
