Default Alternative Speaker Mounts

Just wondering where else I have the option to mount the front speakers considering that I am going to have removable doors in about 48 hrs.

I have 2 Prime audio speakers in the front doors that I'd like to put elsewhere up front. I am a huge sound buff and considering the noise its gonna make on highway...I'd like to still hear music lol.

Obviously a sound bar is 1 way but how do you install that/wire it?

Any other suggestions?

All replies are greatly appreciated!!!!

I have seen people put it where there tweeters are under the dash. Also like posted in the front kickpanels.

Those seem to run a bit out of my price range ($200 for a piece of plastic w/ no speakers?!) I was looking to do something like that on the cheap...Any writeups on making your own?

Other question, Can I mount them in the center console?

Or perhaps under the dash but the opposite side of the kick panel? On that rounded interior metal?

You could mount them in the center console but they probably wouldnt sound to great. I agree on the kickpanel pieces being to expensive. I would look into mounting them under the dash where the tweeters go on the higher end cherokees.

where exactly would those tweeters go? Ironically enough I've owned 3 cherokees and still don't know where the high end audio would go...

On my Limited, the tweeters are mounted in the lower dash panel. There is two 3x4" vents (look like vents) there. And I still use them! There's a write-up on making 1/2 doors, that looked really good, some where on here. Have you thought about mounting a sound bar (like the one used in back) Above (and slightly behind) the front seats. Covered to match head liner? I don't think that would look too bad. It shouldn't be anymore in the way than the rear one!.........................JMO!
