Are all bushings created equally
What do you guys think? Is a bushing a bushing or do some just do it better. I comparing a generic black bushing to the newer poly bushings. I have an old man emu lift that makes a creaking noise when i get in the back off it and im thinking i should replace the bushings. What ya think?

Squeaky squeaky squeaky squeaky
You might not need bushings, new ones can squeak. Take a look at the bushings for cracks in the rubber/poly. If its not bad and the squeaking really bugs you, lube them. Poly bushings are harder so they hold up better to the stresses of the suspension. Rubber bushings are softer so they offer a better ride. Just depends which you would rather.
