the hf compressor will work for aobut 10 times or so speaking from experience, if you baby it itll last longer.

co2 works best imo no compressor to over heat and its 6 bucks to refill my 10lb tank which will air up about 14 35 inch tires

I have two 10 gallon CO2 tanks. ( in case I run out of CO2 in one tank I have a back up )
With my small 32s one 10 gallon tank will air me up maybe 15-20 times. That sounds like way to many times but that is on my 1948 CJ2A and I only run 12 lbs on the road, and maybe 4-6 in the snow.
When I had my Blazer running 40s one 10 gallon tank would air me up from 6 lbs for snow to 28 lbs about 2.5 times, from 16 lbs for rock to 28 lbs, maybe 4-6 times. This is sort of guessing as most times when wheeling close to home I would only air up to maybe 20 lbs to get home on, or to get to where I could use a compressor.

Or call your local shop and ask what CFM they push.

But Rock Toy is right, it may have a max capacity of 250psi, but if thats only at 1 Cubic Foot per Min, its not gonna build that 250 psi very quick at all.
It depends on the size of container you are trying to bring to that 250psi...

A 33 x 12.5 x 15 is going to take much longer than a 8 x 12 trailer balloon tire.

I have the next compressor up from the listed one... it works better... but it get HOT!!!!! you will burn yourself after airing up all four tires.

I know it's a MUCH pricier option, but I LOVE my ARB compressor!!! I've got the HO one for my lockers and went ahead and got the air-up kit. One of the best setups out there if you don't mind paying for it.....takes like 3-4 min (approx) to go from 10 to 40 PSI per tire (33x12.50's). All my buds start like jockeying for position around me beggin to use it when we start gettin ready for the trip home from the trails

Don't know what size tires you are running, but on the 48 I am increasing my 32x9.50 15 tires by 6 to 8 psi. You are increasing your whatever size tires by 13 lbs so you could be using over twice the CO2 that I use for my 48. I like the CO2 but with one 20 lb bottle be careful because when you are out you are out. ( Couple of guys carried the cheap electric ones for back up just in case the CO2 ran out with a tire that still needed to be aired up. )

Good point, im currently running 30x9.5's. I guess i could air down further and bring it back up a couple psi, just for the street and then use the air compressor at home to fill it back to normal pressure

Yea, that is what I do, or air up enough to get to somewhere I can use a compressor to top off to my preferred pressure.

One of my buddies had one of these. He let me use it, after 20 min I got impatient and drove over it. Then used another guys CO2 tank.
