Air shocks or not
I recently bought a 2002 jeep grand cheerokee for cheap money. I wanted it to just get me to work and back. I only expect it to last a year or so. It runs and drives, and it passed inspection. The one problem with it is the suspenction. The springs AND shocks are no good. I don't want to spent the money to replace both of them. I was wondering if iI got air shocks or heavy duty shocks (that are cheap) and just replaced the shocks it would be good enough and I didn't have to replace the more expensive springs. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Air shocks are going to give you a fairly rough ride, I'd spend the money (or ask around here) on a replacement set of springs then just get a fairly decent set of shocks.
