Alright so i have searched google and have not really found exactly what i need..
I have an old Weed Eater, The motor works perfect the actually weed eater is toast so i got to thinking about making an air compressor out of it.
can i use a jeeps AC compressor powered by the weed eater motor to make an air compressor?
I know that i will need the following:
motor
compressor
tank
pressure pop off valve
pressure regulator (on at X psi and off at X psi)
filter/oil catch
fittings.
am i missing anything?

Don't waste your time and money. The 26cc two stroke will not have enough torque to spin the old A/C compressor. Think about it, if you can feel a 4.0l engine lose a few horsepower when the A/C kicks on, what makes you think a three horse (max) 26cc two stroke is going to turn it? For what you spend in building it, you could buy a new one. Use that little engine for an R/C boat or something.
