Im trying to mess with my steering as i get wobbles on speeds over 45. I noticed my driver side wheel is pointed out more than the pass side. Could the tie rod slip inside to cause that? also i plan on ordering the serious offroad kit soon, just trying to get this figured out first
Probably bumped it out of whack somehow. Sounds like your tie rod needs to be adjusted followed by your drag link in order to straighten the wheels. Easiest way to do it is to lift the front up on jack stands and adjust them accordingly. It will probably take a few tried to get it right. I would suggest ordering the serious kit asap so that you don't have to align it twice. It might take a few adjustments to get the toe in right. As for the drag link, you will have to adjust it, then drive it, then adjust accordingly from there. It's not hard but it can be a pain in the *** having to go under the Jeep multiple times to make adjustments to get the steering wheel straight.
This write up shows you how to do it yourself:

There was another write up I saw that I can't seem to find right now that was on a Wrangler. They jacked up the front end, then spun the front tires and sprayed them with a can of spray paint to make a stripe down the middle. Then they spun the tire and put a screwdriver up to it mounted to something heavy (so it would not move around) and drew a perfect line in the stripe. This way when they took measurements from each side they would be exact. That's how I did it and that's what I recommend.

Several things could cause wobble... Like CrawlinPepper said, get the serious offroad kit asap, install it, then go get it aligned. It sounds like you should replace the drag link end also. Make sure everything is nice and tight before taking it to the alignment shop. If that doesn't fix the problem, make sure the tires are properly balanced (you might even get a break on cost if you have the alignment shop balance them at the same time).

Thanks for all the help! one quick question, i have a 3" lift and the axle is 1/2in to 3/4 to the driver side. I know i need a track bar. so that being said is it fine to do the serious upgrade first, or do the track bar? i can only afford to do one at a time

I'd start with the track bar first. I ran my stock steering with a 4.5" lift for a few years with no problems. I'd recommend getting one similar to the IRO one:

You can get one like Rusty's with a tie rod on one end, but they are crap IMHO. I had one for the longest time, then one day the tie rod sheared off. I couldn't find the right size TRE to save my life. Once I finally got one, it would always loosen up and cause problems, like a wobble.
If you're short on $$$, then read over this:

Especially the "toe adjustment" section.
Once you redo your steering, take it in to a professional alignment shop.

I actually had that same track bar on my list to buy! and i planed on grabing a spare pitman arm to drop off at machine shop to get drilled out so i dont have to wait or use a hand drill on that.
