Hey I have a 1996 Cherokee just picked it up last week off my buddy who only owned it for a month and didn't do any work to it. Was changing the oil today n noticed the front passenger said control arm was shot its Adjustable n has a nipple for greasing so all around that you can see oil gunk around it n it's just wobbling in place. Not sure if this was normal so I check the other and was stiff no problems. No idea what kinda lift is on there as far as name but have a 6 inch shot arm on there not long. How dangerous is it to drive like this and where / could I just buy any short arm to replace it just that one side?

 

Rethread it with a bigger nipple and gease it an get all that gunk out.

 

Put a pic of it up . You should be able to change bushings

They are teraflex bushings are 30$

Yes that's them you don't have to buy the whole arm you just replace the rubber bushings. Get there number on the web and call them they will help you out

 

That kinda turned me on.

 

It's not only leaking the hole thing is moving has play in it.
