I looked at a 98 Cherokee for 750 bucks. its 95% rust free and im trying to get a better look and drive it,if the guy would ever answer his phone. I left a message and my phone number and he never called back,ill try again today.

 

well he finally answered his phone,he was sleeping and works a swing shift. anyways he said the jeep has a loud knocking in the motor. and he isn't into fixing cars, he's not a mechanic. so ill probably go Monday eve. to drive it and look at it better,then decide. my stepsons dad still has that 91 5 speed with very little rust I guess. it needs parts from my transfer case before it goes in. and my rear axle with the 355's too,but he wants me to get it rebuilt with some kind of locker to put in it. not to metion getting the title that's not in his name, he cant find it. all three of us have full time jobs and those 2 work every other Saturday.

As far as the '91 goes. Unless you've got a good title to go with it forget it. BTDT and it cost me $1500.
