91 transfer case

what transfer case do i need for a 91 cherokee laredo, auto- 4.0. mine blew up and i dont even know what i had or need.

There were two options, NP231 and NP242, both have a 23 spline input. 231 has 2hi 4hi N and 4lo. 242 has 2hi 4hi part time 4hi full time N and 4lo.

Engine: 4.0L upgraded charging system & blue top, flowmaster 44, hi flow cat and two core rad.

Check the input spline count on your old one and make sure the replacement is the same.
