Default 91 flares fit an 01

Ive got an 2001 cheroke sport and i was down by the scrap yard today and saw some nice fender flares on a 91 cheroke. Do you all think that thell bolt right on or will i have to mod them some how.

If they are factory flares you will need to mod them.

Just curious, as to why you would want to change the originals. Did you damage them?

you would need the entire fender plus the flares. and if you did that, the front grill wouldnt match the old fender so you would have to swap that too.

I changed my 1991 Jeep Cherokee Laredo's Front Header Panel with a 2001 Header and it fits nice on it. I kept my older Header Panel if I ever want to change back to the classic style.

Does anyone know where I can find the "Classic" Emblem online? Couldn't find any at the JY only 2 had it but it was stickered on and not the 3D lettering. http://www.teamgrandwagoneer.com/par...iled/1719.html

Heres what mine looks like with the new Header Panel only this image is a 2001 Cherokee model but its darn close. I added the red trim and bumber from off a 2001 and removed the gray off mine. I removed the old Cherokee Logo that was on the Fender and put the new 3D lettering CHEROKEE logo on the side of the the door. Just need to find the CLASSIC logo.

But yes you will need the 84-96 Header Panel for the older Grilles to fit nicely or just view my profile images to add 97-01 grilles on older Cherokees. The 84-96 besides the Header are 3 peices. The Grille, and 2 light cover bezels if you want the older style look, but you need the older model Header Panel witch is very easy to find at a JY, Thats where I got my 01 Header Panel.

For me, switching to 2001 style. I got at the JY: Header Panel, flares, Back bumber and front bumber "Plastic corner parts" side trim along the body of the doors, Grille, witch I got the entire Head Panel with grille lights in it. and Paint at parts store.

What I bought.

why would you need the entire fender? this is very common on lifted XJ's the older style flares stick out farther than the newer style so people swap the old ones to avoid getting tickets for tires sticking out too far.

i would assume all you would need to do would be to drill some new holes in your fenders because the mountin system would be different

Cherokee Laredo; I would keep checking on E-bay, didn't have any at the moment. And check local craigslist for anyone parting out a jeep. Your looks good.
