No you should not need a DPA. I have a 4.5 and didn't need one.
I would save up some extra money and get full spring packs. your AAL will sag in a couple months

That will depend on how much you flex it. It could last for a long time. I had an AAL go for three years with off road use, but some sag quickly.

enough sag that it wouldn't be at 4.5" anymore in the back. I bought the 4.5" with full leaf packs and I'm very glad I did.

dont need pitman arm drop and go with full leafs i got the RC kit with AAL and mines saggin already and i just had it installed this past summer
