I was wheeling in Moab with a couple of XJ's last month that had come together. They were both set up very similarly, and one was on KM2 and the other on MTR. I asked them if they had found either to be better for one thing or the other. They said no. And while wheeling on mostly rock, I watched them grab almost identically on obstacles.
I think I heard the MTR's have a higher mileage expectancy(?).
I have the KM2's and like them. I strongly considered MTR's, but it came down to price in the end.

Iv been running my KM2's for a year now and there a great tire...my jeep is my everyday drive, Trail rig & Rock crawl and the tires are wearing great...but i do like the GY Kevlar's alot...

MT/R's! I don't have experience with either personally yet, but I do have a set of 33" MT/R's in my garage waiting to be mounted. My uncle on the other hand has a set of 35" KM2's on his JK. He seems very pleased with them, he's never gotten stuck, more so all rocks, dirt, and sand in the wash where I'm at and I haven't heard a complaint, give it a month or so and I can tell you how his do in snow. I personally prefer the look of the mtrs though. Another week and I can tell you what I think of the mtrs performance wise.
