Default 31x13.5!

Came across some new 31x13.5x15s for cheap and was wondering what backspacing I would need. I have a 3.5-4 inch lift right now and plan on trimming the fenders a little bit. Let me know what you experts think.

Tire trouble...I run 35x12.5 on a 10.5 rim and 3.5 bs. the diffrence between a 8.5 or a 10.5 will make the tire either taller with a more narrow foot print (8.5) or squat with a wider foot print (10.5) at standard psi. until you air down if you do air down you will need to monitor the tire bead very carefully on a 8.5 rim it will be prone to pop off. and back spacing for that wide of a tire i would go with about 3.5 to 3.75 there going to stick out like a ***** but they wont rub.

Are you serious?!?! I run 33x12.50's on a 15x8 and it's perfect. One extra inch of tire width is not going to make much of a difference.

Steve. To my understanding a wide tire on a narrower rim makes the tire stay on the bead better exspecially when aired down

How wide they are at the tread, not at the beads.

ah right because beads pop inward ok you win. but just the same Ive got a buddy running the same size tire with a more narrow rim and it would appear to be taller and more narrow.
