I am thinking about buying a 3" rough country lift kit for my 98 XJ. The kit comes with (4) 9000 nitro shocks, add-a-leaf, springs, and lower control arms. What else might I need to get ? Ex. Longer quick disconnects? longer brake lines? Thanks for the help.

 

And a t-case drop, new u bolts, & bigger tires! After that is when the list gets interesting! Lol

 

i dident have to get any of that except an adjustable trac bar

 

I would hope at very least you got new u bolts, & didn't reuse the old ones???

Also an adjustable track bar isn't needed if you redrill the axle end!

 

Thanks for the help. I'm not really planing to take it off road yet, I'm still fixing it up.

 

If your current rear leaf springs are sagging, I'd look into full leaf packs over the add-a-leafs as it will be sagging again soon.
