Oil pressure

The oil pressure has been running low. Yesterday, I turned on my jeep and the ( check gauge ) light came on. And the oil pressure was at 0. I turned off my car and checked the oil level and it was fine. I have already replaced the sending unit once. I also used a mechanical gauge and the oil pressure was fine. What could it be?
