Default 2004 grand cherokee laredo?

http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/ctd/1217046786.html

Hey guys new to the forum, a friend of mine is looking to buy the jeep in the above link. Just looking for some feedback on common problems with this year model and/or anything else that would be a good piece of info. Thanks in advance!

That's a little high for a 2WD '04 Laredo, but not bad considering it's from a dealer and very clean.
Check here for TSBs and recalls for the '04.>-->http://www.wjjeeps.com/tsb.htm

I don't know if you guys like that mistake more, or the "I want to do a body lift on my Cherokee" one more. They just don't know "The Beast".

dave knows it's not a "v"6,he's making fun of the ad...notice the emoticon.

the jeep seems like an "ok" deal but it's a used vehicle with higher miles so kinda hard to speculate how reliable it will be.

I'm aware Dave's familiar with the 4.0L, I was making a comment about how some seem to enjoy when they see it referred to as "V6" so they can make the correction.

just wait until somebody starts a thread and says they're going to put a body lift on their V6 grand cherokee...it'll be a free-for-all.

I agree. But there were a couple different threads in the last few weeks wanting to do body lifts on an XJ, and a ZJ. I chose to remain quiet.
