Default 2001 Cherokee creaking noise in front end when brakes are applied

Once my Xj warms up a little bit i hear a creaking noise when the brakes are applied or even when im going below 20mph. Its a weird sound kinda sounds like its coming from the brakes but could be something else. Its definetly near the front of the car. Any ideas? My pads are good and the rotors look fairly new....
