Sounds like a bitter break up.

If you are trading in for another used vehicle you are better off just fixing your xj. Any used vehicle is going to need maintenance sooner rather than later. Yeah you might get lucky. It may go a while without having issues. You could also get something worse off and be stuck like chuck with another lemon.

Make some lemonade and fix that xj!
