Took my 88 XJ out for a shake down tonight. Its been raining like a **** here allday. So I went out to the local mudhole with my buddy in his wrongler. Needless to say, we were nervous. Both of us being new to jeep, we figured what the hell, lets test em out. And we hit every mud hole on the trail no matter how big or small. Neither of us got stuck. Were both running stock jeeps with 3 inch lifts and 31s. Had a blast. Some dude in a 4x4 Ranger followed us in. He went in first while we were talking about what we were going to do. Needless to say he got stuck! Dudes 4x4 wasnt working and he knew that before going in. We got to watch him wench himself out 3-4 times. I knew he felt stupid cause he had his girlfriend in the passenger seat! Of course being new jeep guys we watched him suffer a little bit as we went through with ease . Then we started helping him. Gonna try to go back tomorrow in the daylight. It was dark and foggy tonight.

 

Atleast the guy had a winch to pull himself out. Tell him next time to buy a jeep
