Default 1st Cherokee, now what ?

Bought my 1st Jeep today, got a 2000 Cherokee Sport. Kinda new to the whole jeep thing😂but I'm not sure what to do next. I'm open to any ideas/criticism. Also new to cherokeeforum.com but I'm looking forward to it. I attached some pictures below.

Drive it around. Love it. Do tons of reading on how the suspension and drivetrain work. Take it off road. Modify according to your needs. Congrats. It's a nice looking truck

Congratulations on the new XJ! First thing to do is get to know your Jeep by catching up on all routine maintenance.

^^ Great advice. If you ask a hundred members here you may end up with 100 different replies, and not one fits your needs...at least concerning lift goodies and whatnot.

I advise you to give it a good once over, make sure it's mechanically sound, check for rust if you're in the rust belt, or anywhere with moisture, replace fluids.....routine crap, you know.

Hmm, you didnt buy it from a lawyer in a BMW by any chance? LOL. J/K. Looks just like my 2000, only not red. Looks like a good start.

Nice jeep man. Check all your fluids and find the qwerks and fix them. There are tech. threads on here for any of your questions, try revive old threads if you can instead of starting new ones although i dont always do this myself its a good habbit. Start mechanically and start working towards that lift kit man and whatever else suits your needs and have fun with your jeep!
