I just bought a 1990 jeep cherokee with a 1999 4.0 transplanted in to it. now correct me if im wrong but couldnt i chip it since it has the new engine? when the new engine was installed did it get installed with a 1999 computer and what not? what do i need to look for to find out?

i am just curious about it.....also how do i really know if the engine is oiut of a 1999... i can tell it has the newer intake...i think


anyway i love my new jeep and im just trying to learn a little about it
