Hi fellow Jeepguys I am new to this forum. I own a 1995 Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 5.2 liter with 78K original miles. I am the 2nd owner owned it 16 years now drive it once per month just to keep the fluids circulating. main drive it 26 miles per day round trip to work during winter months in Oklahoma where I live I haven't driven it in a few months now.

last week the battery was dead put a new battery in started it up. the problem is that it dies as soon as i take my foot off the gas pedal. its a v8 318 cid motor with a TBI fuel system. I did have a new fuel pump put in at the jeep dealership a few years ago along with new plus and wires. any ideas on what I should look at first as potentially being the issue?
