1989 Cherokee Pictures
So i have been floating around the forum for a little while, and I have asked a few questions. I though you guys deserved to see some pictures of my XJ. I have owned it for 1 year now, and I love driving it. One of the best rigs i have ever owned.
I purchased the XJ for $1000. It has 256k on the motor and transmission, and still running strong.
Things I have done to it since I have owned it.
3" lift
New Wheels and Tires
New Radiator
New Waterpump
New Thermostat
New Coolant Bottle
New Tie Rod
Wheel Alignment
Transmission Serviced
New Alternator
New Front Wheel Bearing Hubs
New brakes all around
Home brewed Air Intake (noticed i never said cold air intake)
And some other things i know i am missing
So far it has been a GREAT rig, I look forward to many more miles in it. Now for some pics.
There you have it. The story (so far) on my XJ.

You've got yourself a nice rig there man, mines a 98 and although I like the upgrades interior wise and all, I love the styling of the older XJ's. Yours looks pretty clean too.

Sometimes I wish i had a little newer one. I would not mind some of those interior upgrades. However, I love this thing and would not trade it for the world. It needs some interior work, the headliner is falling down and the driver viser is all torn up. other than that though it is clean and straight.
I had some bugs to work out on it, and now i can start in with some mods.

I run 30x9.5. They are a falken tire with a hybrid tread. I dont do any serious mudding, but i do drive a lot of rough roads during hunting season. So far they have been a great tire. They have a 50k mile warranty and i have put about 18k on them so far.
