Believe what ever you want, I bought my 88 new and the Chrysler logo was on some parts and it's still my daily driver with over 300,000 on it.

yeah my 91 jeep has Jeep on one side and Chrysler logo on the other on the key.

I dont want to slide the thread, but what do you know about the 91s in general? good/bad wise.... the Bendix 9 abs seems to be the achilles heel, and the upgraded mopar fuel injectors seem to be the pro... Any other juicy tidbits?

Weekend is going well. I had eye surgery on Wednesday and things are healing up well. I can actually work on stuff again!!

I recently bought a 1988 Cherokee Laredo 6.0 4WD automatic 4DR in very good condition with 72k miles for $5500 plus $500 freight, but I doubt the seller knew what he had . Getting it painted right now

I agree that facebook marketplace is the way to go until something goes wrong. I was a regular facebook user until some hacker got into my account and tried to sell almost new vehicles for stupid low prices, obviously a scam. Facebook cut ME off for 5 YEARS and I didn't even have time to inform my contacts list that I wouldn't be able to communicate with them anymore on facebook. Misplaced priorities.

Did you buy a 88 Cherokee XJ and how much or ball park cost? I'm curious since I'm an original owner of a 88 XJ, I still have the window sticker and contract. The only mods I made were for feature improvements, well my 3" lift wasn't for improvement but was for my liking. In the mid 2000's it had almost 300,000 miles and a guy offered me $10,000.00 for it which was turned down.
